Liberty Square Fife and Drum Corps

Dublin Core

Title

Liberty Square Fife and Drum Corps

Subject

Description

The scene is very historical. It transports those in the photo and those who experienced it into another era, one in which Colonial America and the Founding Fathers reigned. There are buildings possessing the stately architecture of that period looming manners majestically and welcoming in the background. One even sports the American flag flapping patriotically from a flagpole. Aesthetically the buildings share the common colors of grey, red, and white. The focal point is a troupe of American revolutionary soldiers are gathered in the square and are creating music, they stand in a circle. To the left of the rim are flutists, to the right are drummers. In the center, is their standard bearer. Parkgoers watch on in awe and admiration while snapping pictures.
