Mickey Mouse leads America on parade

Dublin Core

Title

Mickey Mouse leads America on parade

Description

The characters Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck are being paraded on a float. Mickey is proudly bearing a version of the Betsy Ross Flag like a standard. Goofey is holding a drum while Donald plays the flute. Behind them in waves stream a procession of Disney characters while Disney fans and park goers surround them on both sides. In the background majestically looms the castle. Another building to the right, has the American flag alighted on its spire and flapping.
This card displays a Walt Disney World favorite, the day parade. Mickey, Donald and Goofy are gliding down Main Street on a float. The bottom of the float resembles a snare drum, much like those used during battle and a large bald eagle hovering over the three characters. On both sides of the parade, sidewalks are packed to the edge with guests, some even sitting on the ground. And of course, in the background is Main Street's signature; Cinderella's Castle.

Hi!
Sat on the curb to watch this parade. What a sight. Taking 3 days to see Disney World. All has gone well so far, weather just lovely- warm bright not humid. Clair + Beckie certainly put out the "Red Carpet" for us. Rented a pinto station wagon to do our sight seeing. All has been fun.
