Introduction

Places of worship have always maintained significance among people throughout time. People attach meaning to their religious structures by viewing their architectural features, experiencing community, and revering them as monuments.  Architecture and monumental status express the respective visions of multiple faiths, while community reflects the interaction between a group pf people and a shared belief system.  The following images of religious buildings illustrate a few of the many ways in which we associate churches with certain values and concepts.
